Samsung Display releases Ultra Thin Glass for foldable devices

Samsung Display has commercialized its Ultra Sparse Glass (UTG) engineering for foldable smartphones. The glass cover has already been used in the Milky way Z Flip that was released on February eleven aslope the Galaxy S20 series. The Ultra Thin Glass is used to protect foldable screens from scratches and scuffs.
The Due south Korean display manufacturing firm, an affiliate of Samsung Electronics, says that Ultra Thin Glass cover is just 30 micrometers thin and it tin can exist mass-produced for various foldable devices and screen sizes. The visitor claims that it is more durable and scratch-resistant compared to plastic panels used in nearly other foldable phones.
